PURITY

Purity is freedom from contamination or pollution, A man is pure when he is right and genuine all around, that he pronounces as well as practices the things that need to do with his obligation to God and man.

Sin is the thing that stains the body, hence purity is the absence of filthy things, for example, unforgiveness, drunkness, formication/infidelity, deceptive nature, conning, pride, among others. Bible says in Matthew 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God".

To be pure in soul implies that you not just have the capacity to carry on with the sort of life that God covets yet that you really do live it (being commonsense).

God has a great time Holiness; Heaven, His residence is pure, its occupants are similarly pure.

How Can We Live A Life Of Purity?

David asked this same question in Psalm 119:9 and he also gave the answer

Psalm 119:9 "How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word".

The word of God (Bible) is the road map that directs us to the right path we should follow

Any instruction that contradicts the word of God stains us.

God has called us to walk in purity.

Lets pray and ask God to help us, we can not do it by ourself, we need the Holy Spirit to guide us daily

May the Lord cleans us from anything that have defile our body even as we resolve to be pure. Amen.
